Project: Coversion of existing office block to 15 apartments with insulated external render and replacements windows

Helm were tasked with the conversion of an old five storey office building in to 15 apartments (14 2-bedroom apartments and a one 1- bedroom apartment on the ground floor).
In relation to the location of the building we had to liaise with the properties surrounding the building to gain access to erect the scaffold. As the site doesn’t have room for a hoist, a forklift will be needed to be made available and lift materials on to the scaffold from the road so a traffic management plan needs to be in place. There are mobile phone masts positioned on the building, so careful planning and liaison is deeded with the communications providers involved.
Once complete, the building will be clad with a modern insulated render system with new windows throughout. The soundproof layers between units will also be of the highest quality. The build has to be of the highest standard and be fully representative of the quality of finish that Cheltenham now demands. Each apartment will have its own dedicated parking space and a large cycle store.
